Spinach Salad (Ispanak Salatası)

I loved this salad when Zeynep, my dear friend brought to a party. Her mother did the salad, however, it was Zeynep's last touches that made it perfect. Aysel Teyze, Zeynep's mother, prepared all the ingredients but kept them apart. This is the secret. So everything must be brought together at the last minute. It is also important that the spinach is fresh, and baby if possible. I think I will repeatedly do this salad, it tastes really good. Thanks again, Aysel Teyze. 



Ingredients:
Baby spinach, 1/4 kg
Bulgur, a handful
Pomegranate, half
Pomegranate sauce
Olive oil
Salt

Preparation:
1. Wash the spinach leaves very carefully, then cut in small pieces. 
2. In a saucepan, add bulgur and just enough water to cover. Bring to boil and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to rest for another 10 minutes, heat off. This way, bulgur will be more fluffy. 
3. Deseed pomegranates. 
4. In a bowl, mix spinach and pomegranate sauce, salt, and olive oil. Then add pomegranates and bulgur. 
5. Enjoy!
