PILAV WITH VEGETABLES
Although I like Pilav as it is, white and pure, I sometimes add some vegetables to cheer it up. Best matching vegetables are, in my opinion, peas, corn and some parsley.

- 150 g Rice
- Peas, a small can
- Corn, a small can
- Parsley
- Butter, a tablespoon (and some for greasing)
- Olive oil, teaspoon
Preparation:
- Grease a small pan, add peas, on a medium heat swirl a couple of times.
- Prepare the pilav exactly as described before (click here).
- Just before turning the heat off, add corn and peas and some chopped parsley.
- Turn off the heat, put the lid on.
- After 20 minutes give it a swirl and sprinkle remaining parsley and serve
