CACIK

Truly refreshing, healthy, bearing all the goodness coming from yogurt and also compliments every dinner. What else does one want from a beverage? Cacik is one of the essentials of Turkish meal.


Ingredients:
  • 200 g yogurt
  • Cucumber (half of one giant cucumbers)
  • 250 mL water
  • mint or basil to decorate
  • Ice

Preparation:
  • Whisk yogurt in a bowl by gradually adding water.
  • Grind the cucumber and add to the bowl.
  • Serve in small bowls with some ice and decorated with mint or basil.
