APPLE CAKE (Elmalı Kek)

Occasionally we need some calories, don't we?


Ingredients:
  • 125 g margarine
  • 80 mL vegetable oil
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 80 mL milk
  • 320 g flour
  • Baking powder, 1 teaspoon
  • Apple


Preparation:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Whisk eggs with sugar, preferably with an electrical mixer. (Please don't get confused with the dough hooks in the picture, I actually used mixer hooks.)
  • Add oil and milk, continue mixing.
  • Add the baking powder into the flour, add the both into the mixture, continue mixing.
  • In a glaced tray, pour the batter.
  • Slice the apple thinly and align them all onto the cake batter.
  • Cook 30 min, then decorate with icing sugar.
